WHAT ARE THE FOUR MAIN COMPONENTS OF ICT?

The four main components of ICT are:  Hardware, software, Data, People.

Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets. Cyberbullying can occur through SMS, Text, and apps, or online in social media, forums, or gaming where people can view, participate in, or share content. Cyberbullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or private information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation.

Sexting

Sexting is sending sexually explicit messages, photos, or video via cell phone, computer, or any digital device. Sexting includes photos and videos containing nudity or show or simulated sex acts. It also includes text messages that discuss or propose sex acts.

Online Gaming

Online games such as Roblox, Minecraft and Fornite provide a lot of innocent fun for children. These games also provide relaxation for players by allowing them to test their wits against other players and use their imagination for creative purposes.
However, these games have a darker side on occasion. It is all too easy for a predatory adult to pretend to be a child player in online gaming. The predator often uses behavior known as “grooming” to gain the child’s trust and to manipulate him or her into revealing personal information.
Later on, this trust might lead to the predator asking the child to use an app like WhatsApp, Skype or Snapchat. Eventually, the predator and the child could meet in person, giving the predator the opportunity to molest the child.

Social Media

Social media is a phrase that we throw around a lot these days, often to describe what we post on sites and apps like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and others. So you can infer that social media are web-based sites that allow people to interact with each other.

Social media isn’t all just fun and games with your friends, celebrities you admire, and brands you follow. There are lots of common problems that most major social media platforms haven’t totally solved, despite their effort to do so.                                      Spam, Cyberbullying/Cyberstalking, Self-image manipulation, Information overload, Fake news and Privacy/Security.

The public web it is only the 4% of web content (8 million pages) is available via search engines like Google and The Deep web its approximately the 96% of the digital universe is on Deep web sites protected by passwords.
